I always choose names for my sites that represent my state of mind at that time in my life. Sometimes it's a word or simple phrase from a song or a poem that I've written.. This time I was inspired by a book that I read. "Passionate-Eye" came first from a book by Suzanne Vega, called The Passionate Eye. Suzanne Vega is a fabulous singer/songwriter/poet that will forever inspire me. You may know her songs Luca, Marlena On The Wall, Left Of Center or even Tom's Diner! I stand by myself, Not lonely at all. I listen to the little birds Beckon and call. I stand by myself By the pond, with the fish And now I don't even Have one little wish Except to be by myself Each and every day And come down to the woods Where the little deer play. (Vega, Age 9)     I used the name "Passionate-Eye" not only out of respect and great admiration for Vega but because I was just coming out of college as a web design major when I bought the domain. I have always had a passionate eye for art.. and nature. Brush strokes often bring me to tears and the swaying of a tree in a hefty breeze often makes my heart ache. In reality I am a very deep human being. I was indulging myself in both art and my passion for nature at the time and thought the name well represented me.
